You’ve probably heard about TOMS Shoes and its awesome One for One concept: with every pair you purchase TOMS gives a pair of new shoes to a child in need.
But did you know about their “One Day Without Shoes” initiative? An awesome project that draws attention to the need for shoes internationally. Every year people gather barefoot around the world to support the cause. The last “One Day Without Shoes” happened just a few days ago.

Twins for Peace
Following in the footsteps of TOMS, in 2010 two twins from France launched their brand. Name: Twins for Peace. Tag line: Be Cool, Be Good.
Their concept is the same: for each pair of shoes you buy, they offer a pair of shoes to children who need them.

JoJo
Two friends from Belgium also came out recently with a great concept called JoJo. When buying a pair of JoJos, you can choose one of two environmental causes to support:
1 pair of Jojos = 1 tree planted in Africa
or
1 pair of Jojos = 1 year of drinking water for one person in Africa
